The
Williams-Steiger Occupational Safety & Health Act (OSHA) – which
went into effect in April 1971 – was passed to assure that all workers
were provided a safe and healthful workplace.
Under OSHA, an employers' responsibilities are clear: "Each employer shall furnish to each of his employees employment and a place of employment which are free from recognized hazards that are causing or are likely to cause death or serious physical harm to his employees..." (Paragraph 5.a.1)
To comply with OSHA, employers must not only institute comprehensive safety and employee training programs, but also ensure that jobsite inspections are regularly performed by an objective safety professional. GENERAL
Mr.
Reinhardt has 27 years experience in construction safety consulting. He
brings a variety of perspectives to each assignment as a result of past
positions with insurance carriers, general contractors and his own consulting
business. His capabilities include safety training, drug programs and
hazard recognition.

EXPERTISE
Mr. Reinhardt's excellent communication skills allow him to gather information
at the project site by working directly with the field forces. He then
summarizes his findings through customized reports which satisfy the needs
of construction executives and insurance carriers alike. His approach
is thorough yet pragmatic.

Mr. Reinhardt's talents have been utilized throughout Florida. He has
worked on projects from $15 million to $151 million, including hotels,
apartments, high rises, electric generating plants and uranium extraction
plants.
EDUCATION
AND TRAINING
Mr. Reinhardt has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from the University
of South Florida. This early instruction in education has provided him
invaluable tools for instituting and improving construction safety training
programs.

Mr. Reinhardt is a member of the American Society of Safety Engineers
and the Florida Affiliation of Insurance Safety Representatives.
